Peace--Black Elk

"The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize at the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that its center is really everywhere.
It is within each of us."

--Black Elk, Black Elk Speaks by John G. Neihardt, 1932

Enjoyed your stories. I also have a web page you may like. Each week I add another story from a live radio show about the old West. You can listen at www.dr-history.com. Just trying to get the word out. Thanks

First of all I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask if you don't mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to
writing. I've had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there.
I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying
to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Thanks!
