So good to hear from you! Yellowstone ...Hello Mary! So good to hear from you! Yellowstone is indeed a fascinating place, one of many North America's great treasures. Thank you for sharing your stories--I'm not sure I'd be as thrilled about a bear that close! We have them strolling through town here in northern Colorado often and it is an ongoing issue on how to deal with their presence. (They give them one chance to relocate, are only allowed to take them a short distance away, then have to put them down if they return). I view Yellowstone as both a natural wonder and a wildlife refuge and I hope we can continue to protect it's beauty. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a happy birthday! I think we stayed three days, but I remember seeing Old Faithful and thinking it was the greatest thing I'd ever seen. I also enjoyed the bears climbing on top of the car and trying to stick their noses in the window. That was pre-automatic windows and I "sort-of" forgot to roll my window up. There was one that looked a lot like Yogi, without the hat.
Thank you for this nice "birthday" present (you posted it on my birthday).

http://marypurpari.blogspot.com/2015/04/b-is-for-bible-and-book-of-mormon.htmlMary Purparihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09115707814297485372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6964675941678680587.post-8536956219154324012015-03-26T08:53:54.425-07:002015-03-26T08:53:54.425-07:00nice blog thanks you for sharing animals and histo...nice blog thanks you for sharing animals and historieswisata jogjahttp://www.wisatajogja.my.idnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6964675941678680587.post-37661724650820219662014-12-08T14:11:19.082-08:002014-12-08T14:11:19.082-08:00I have been to Yellowstone, it is an amazing place...I have been to Yellowstone, it is an amazing place. It must have been quite a challenge! I really admire these early explorers, especially since, without them, we would not have the park. It's a shame the stories by Jim Bridger and others were discounted, but I'm glad they finally checked it out and verified this magnificent park so it could be protected and preserved.
